BUSINESS OF THE YEAR 2010
DAVIS COUNTRY STORE
In 1989 Tom and Jean Davis purchased
Bunk
Robert's feed store and made
it their own.
At that time, they sold feed
and fertilizer.
Over the years they raised a
large family
and the business grew and grew.
In 2009,
they decided to invest even more
in our town
when they built Davis Country
Store. Their
store could compete with any
similar store
in a large city. Now they sell
home decor,
pet supplies, yard supplies,
western wear
and boots, sparkling flip flops,
and yes
they still sell feed and fertilizer.
Davis Country Store was responsible
for collecting
numerous donations for the chance
to win
the Polaris that the Chamber
of Commerce
gave away during the 2010 Buffalo
Stampede.
The Chamber is very thankful
for their help.

Business of the Year Runner Up
Bob and Marlene Thomas opened up offices in Buffalo TX in 2008 to offer financial services including business funding and merchant credit card processor services. Geared towards small business they assist and help companies get the capital they need to realize their full potential.
