The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce selected
Buffalo Apartments as this month's
Business
of the Month. The apartments
are managed
by Jone Cone, who has filled
that role for
16 years.
The Buffalo Apartments, located
at 231 Gene
Street, is a 24-unit property.
Each unit
has two bedrooms and one bath,
in approximately
880 sq. feet. Residents have
access to three
washers and two dryers located
at the office,
and to another washer and dryer
in the breezeway.
There is also a club room for
hosting a party
with access to an ice box, microwave
and
tables and chairs, a soft-drink
machine and
limited visitor parking. The
complex is conveniently
located within walking distance
of the grocery
store.
Residents' children have use of a swing set
with a jungle gym and a lot of room to play.
It is only a short walk to Buffalo Junior
High School and BISD provides bus service
to the high school and elementary campus,
and courtesy rides to the junior high during
inclement weather.
